“2011東盟-中國商貿合作論壇” 是由“東盟—中國經濟貿易促進會”與泰國政府合作創意召開。其宗旨是使該論壇成為東盟各國及中國精英交流經驗、發表觀點，以及促成合作的中間平臺，為2015年東盟經濟共同體時代的來臨做好準備。

- 擴大東盟各國與中國政府、民間的商貿往來，促進教育界的交流，加強雙邊/多邊友好穩固的商貿關係；
- 致力於商貿、投資、經濟計畫與發展方面的合作與創新； 
- 提高公眾對自由貿易區及國際投資合作的興趣、認知及理解；
- 聯合各界力量，共同尋找適於東盟-中國發展模式的戰略及規劃；
- 為2015年東南亞經濟共同體時代的來臨做好準備。

Today is the anniversary day of the start-up of the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area. The ASEAN - China Economic and Trade Promotion Association will be founded formally soon in Bangkok, Thailand.

It is well-known that the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area has been established expectedly in 1st, Jan, 2010. One billion nine hundred million people, the GDP of six trillions U.S. dollars and the trade value of 4.5 trillion U.S. dollars are covered by the Free Trade Area. The establishment of China - ASEAN Free Trade Area is a symbol of a new era for the bilateral trade relationship between ASEAN and China.
